Unlike a full facial mask, spot treatments can be applied thicker and left on for extended periods, even overnight. Spot treatments are directly on the pimple and can be done as often as needed. This can also be done before a pimple is formed, so if you feel one starts to swell, put some clay on it ASAP!

Spot treating a popped pimple. If you have a pimple ready for extraction, wait until the main drainage is over (maybe 30 min). Use a cotton ball to absorb the drainage, then spot the extraction point for 30 minutes, a few times a day, and spot treatment overnight. This can absorb remaining liquids and infection and help close the opening, which prevents a scab and thereby minimizes scarring. LEROSETT® (Clay) Spot Treatment and Clearing Mask can be used as a drying paste.

Spot treatments with alcohol, zinc oxide, and other ingredients are not the safest for spot-treating pimples. LEROSETT® Clay is the strongest absorbing clay available and can safely remove a pimple overnight.

Daily! This is an essential process for keeping your skin hydrated, especially during dry winter months. Both the LEROSETT® Botanical Acne Cleanser and LEROSETT® Spot Treatment and Clearing Mask can be drying as well, so please moisturize after each mask or cleanse. We recommend our aloe-based LEROSETT® Moisture Matte Clear Skin Moisturizer or LEROSETT® Healing Serum are oil-free, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and can hydrate your skin effectively, minimizing the redness and swelling from pimples, etc. while adding the nutrients that help the natural healing process. *For the best hydration, the LEROSETT® Moisture Matte Clear Skin Moisturizer is more effective. This can be used in conjunction with the Healing Serum, however, for optimal effect.

In some cases of deep acne, as oil and impurities are drawn out of the skin, there can appear to be more pimples. As clogs are being pulled out, some can get stuck and back up a pimple. Purging is getting rid of all the clogs quickly so you can achieve clear skin. LEROSETT® acne products DO NOT cause acne. For those with deep pimples, these impurities must be removed for your skin to become clear. Stay consistent and don’t give up; your clear point may take time. If you choose not to remove these impurities, you may lose any chance of clearing your skin healthily. Those who have used dozens of products and nothing has worked are likely because purging never took place. Those with very problematic skin and many pimples have a lot of impurities deep in the surface. It is unfortunate for many, but purging is what must occur to achieve clear skin finally. An effective way to minimize purging time and severity during the initial clearing phase is to take ClearPoint® supplements. Since ClearPoint® is extremely useful in cutting oil production, there can be less oil in your skin to purge.

No. Acne is caused by dead skin cells that clog follicles, and your skin will always shed dead skin cells. LEROSETT® removes dead skin cells and prevents oil build-up without causing skin damage or drug resistance, and, your skin is also healthier.

While Rx drugs, antibiotics, etc., can help, acne is classified as a skin disease and has no known cure, only treatments; it’s the same with most diseases; there is no cure, only treatments. However, most teenagers experience occasional breakouts called problem skin, which are not necessarily signs of acne, a chronic skin disease. Not all teenagers have a skin disease, just active hormones that like to cause trouble in their lives.

LEROSETT® clears skin and removes pimples. To prevent pimples from returning, use the LEROSETT® Clay Mask 2-3 times a week, wash daily with the acne cleanser, and moisturize with the Healing Serum or Moisture Matte™.

If frozen, the ingredients can separate; however, the product can still be applied with vigorous shaking. With the initial application, you may notice particles of clay that will melt with the heat of your skin. The clay will then perform as expected.

If you’re sure the clay was frozen, you can place the tube in hot water, up to 140 degrees, for 5 minutes, then shake vigorously, and the clay should recombine.

If you’re using only the LEROSETT® Spot Treatment and Clearing Mask, you can use other acne products. However, if you’re not also using the LEROSETT® Moisture Matte Clear Skin Moisturizer or the Clear Skin Face Wash, you may not get the best results. Other acne products may not be aloe-based and may not have the healing ability of LEROSETT® products. If you’re using the entire LEROSETT® Acne System, you should avoid using other acne products.

Never wash your face with bar soap before applying the clay mask. Bar soap is alkaline and can dry out your skin. Instead, use an oil-free aloe-based liquid cleanser like LEROSETT® Clear Skin Face Wash or our LEROSETT® Acne Cleanser. If you don’t have a good cleanser, it’s better to skip washing your face before a clay mask than to use bar soap.

Remember to use a moisturizer after applying LEROSETT®, and using sunscreen is always recommended as well. Use a minimum of SPF 30 and apply the sunscreen after applying Gunilla of Sweden® products. Before applying sunscreen, use an oil-free botanically-based moisturizer like LEROSETT® Moisture Matte Clear Skin Moisturizer, Healing Serum, or one of our Gunilla™ Moisturizers. These moisturizers can penetrate deep into your skin, infusing all the enzymes, vitamins, and antioxidants your skin needs to look its best. Then, you can cover the nutrient layer with sunscreen.

If you have a problem with skin or pimples, avoid using products that contain oil. Many oils are highly comedogenic and can clog your pores and make your skin worse. Some of the most comedogenic oils are coconut oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, and wheat germ oil.

Finally, it’s worth noting that Gunilla of Sweden® products don’t contain sunscreen ingredients. We prioritize high organic content and, therefore, don’t include sunscreen in our products.

First, you must understand that acne, like Eczema, Psoriasis, and Rosacea, is a chronic and incurable skin disease. LEROSETT® is a treatment that helps to remove pimples or the side effects of acne, but you must remain in treatment to stay clear. If LEROSETT® products are not as useful as desired, adding the ClearPoint® supplement is often all it takes. Many people must treat acne externally and internally before it clears and stays that way.

Certain prescription medications can make clearing acne challenging, but it is not impossible. In such cases, we suggest using LEROSETT® products consistently since alternative treatments may worsen the situation by introducing more complex drugs with potential side effects. Some chemical-based acne products can cause your skin to undergo a withdrawal period when you stop using them. Your skin can get used to the antibacterial effect of such products, and it might take a few weeks of detoxing before your skin returns to its normal state.

1. Confirmation: Confirm that you have pimples related to clogged pores or follicles and not Rosacea, sun rash, a staph infection of the follicle, other rashes, or similar skin disorder.

2. Acne drugs: If you just stopped using antibacterial acne drugs, benzyl peroxide, and other harsh drugs, your skin may go through an accelerated bacterial phase. Your skin can get worse for a short period. Since you’re no longer using antibacterial drugs, your skin may need time to regulate itself. LEROSETT® can still draw out oil, impurities, etc., but may not be as effective during the initial weaning period.

3. Purging phase: In cases of deep cystic acne, oil, and clogs that lie under the skin and in the follicle can be drawn out with first use, causing what may appear to be more problems. LEROSETT® does NOT cause pimples. These impurities must be removed from under the skin and within the follicle for your skin to clear. Stay consistent, and don’t give up; your clear point is closer than you may think. If you do give up, you may lose any chance of clearing your skin healthily.

4. New pimples: If you only spot-treat individual pimples and new pimples keep popping up in other places (on your forehead, t-zone, cheeks, etc.), it means you’re not preventing the growth of new pimples by using LEROSETT® as a mask. LEROSETT® prevents skin problems by removing follicular seed clogs and minimizing oil production through mineral adsorption. A follicular clog seed can take up to 3-5 weeks to manifest itself as a pimple. You can prevent seeding by applying a thin layer of LEROSETT® as a mask 1-3 times daily (depending on skin sensitivity.) During these three weeks, the pimples you usually would have had in 3 to 5 weeks should not appear or only be a fraction of what it was. Unfortunately, seeding or clogging can quickly occur if you skip daily or bi-daily full mask applications.

Final note: Fighting acne, especially painful long-term acne, is a fight! You must work at it every day, and most importantly, you must be consistent and not give up. LEROSETT® will help remove more pore clogs than your body can create, but it must be used daily until you clear. There is no cure for acne, only long-term treatment. The LEROSETT® Botanical Acne Cleanser has an expiration date. However, office staff uses expired acne cleansers since they are free. Some have open bottles that are fine with 3-4 years after the expiration date. The expiration date is a legal OTC date; it doesn’t relate to the exact expiration date you would find with a gallon of milk.
